Michael is at the top of the list of class acts. His generosity, wit, and wisdom will be missed by all of us who were fortunate to imbibe, golf, shoot, fish, and laugh with him and you, Mindy. Dear Graney Family,
I went to law school with Mike. He was responsible for my coming back to Columbus to join what was then his law firm--Porter, Stanley, Platt & Arthur. Mike was a gentle, intelligent soul who will not be forgotten. I was shocked to hear of his passing. He was the good friend of many.

Dear Mindy and Family to Mike:
I knew Mike when we were all growing up in Middletown. I remember a long, lean redhead with a wicked sense of humor and great sense of play. He was one of those guys who was just fun to be with. I send you my deepest condolences at your loss. He was a lovey guy.

Please know that you have been in Herb's and my thoughts since the accident at the fairgrounds. We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's death. When I think of Mike, I think of his gentle spirit and his dry wit - that's how we will always remember him - definitely one of the good guys. Even though my time with Mr. Graney was short, it was during his last weeks here on Earth...and it was simply a pleasure to have gotten to know and serve such a kind, generous, warm and thoughtful human being.
Mindy, I know life has been very tough on you lately, please hang in there and know that you have great friends to lean on in your time of need...they will be there...and so will I.
