WEILBACHER Paul E. Weilbacher of Naples, Fla. and Upper Arlington, Oh., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. He was born in Columbus, Oh. to Bert and Mary K. Weilbacher and was raised in German Village. He attended St. Mary's School and Church where he was a server and an usher. Paul was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a retired co-owner of Weilbacher's Suburban of Reynoldsburg and Clintonville, Oh. He was a long time resident of Upper Arlington. He was a charter member of St. Agatha Parish where he was an usher and also a member of St. Agatha Men's Club. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, Oh. and St. William Catholic Church, Naples, Fla. Paul had a love of boating and spent many happy times in Naples, Fla. and at Lake Erie where he was a long time member of the Catawba Island Club. He was preceded in death by sisters Bertille Weilbacher and Geraldine Gall, brothers Norbert, Charles and Quintin Weilbacher. Paul was a devoted husband and is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Dorothy Buchanan Weilbacher. A gentleman and a gentle man, he was a loving father to Regina (Jim) Rosier and Nancy (Tom) Watkins. Devoted grandfather to Wendy (Nathan) Harrison, Meredith (Chris) Matheny, Amy (Philip) Wozniak, Phillip Watkins (fiancee Maggie Schweighofer) and Andrew Watkins. Also survived by three sisters, Marcella Murley, Columbus, Oh., Sr. Bernice Weilbacher, Cincinnati, Oh., Sister of Notre Dame de Namur and Mary Goff, Lyons, Nebraska; and many other loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
