Robert Keitz Obituary

KEITZ Robert C. Keitz, 88, resident of Westminster-Thurber Community, March 17, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Graduate of Grandview Heights High School (1939). Veteran U.S. Marine Corps. WW II. Past-President of Columbus Lumbermans Club, Gyro Club Columbus, Grandview High School Hall of Fame, Grandview Alumni Association. He was on the Board of Directors of Ohio Building Materials Dealers Assoc., helped organize the Upper Arlington Old Timers Softball League in the 1950's, member of the Probus Club and was named Salesman of the Year by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce in 1963. Survived by wife, Jean; daughters, Judy Keitz and Patty (Keith) Klink; brothers, Don and Dick (Shirley) Keitz; grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Klink and Laura (Kyle) Lucas; great- grandchildren, Brendan and Brady Klink, Kinley and Jayci Lucas. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Westminster-Thurber Community. Rev. Mark Arni officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the OPRS Foundation/Life Care TT c/o Westminster-Thurber Community, 717 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43215. Arrangements by DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME.
