Wendell Shoemaker

SHOEMAKER Wendell "Wes" Shoemaker, age 78, of Canal Winchester, passed away March 22, 2010, at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 24, 1932, to the late Harold and Anna Shoemaker; he was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lithopolis and retired from Teledyne/Princeton. Wes is survived by June, his wife of 57 years; family members, Phillip and Kay Shoemaker, Rebecca Shoemaker, Diane Shoemaker, Wendy and John Register, and Connie and Tom Scholl; grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Shoemaker and Thomas and John Patrick Scholl; and brother and sister-in-law, Marlin and Lynn Shoemaker. Friends may visit Friday, March 26, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 27, 11 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, 133 W. South St., Lithopolis, OH 43136, Pastor Joe Wolf officiating.
