KETZMIER Wm. Jay Ketzmier, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his home in Saginaw, MI, at the age of 63. Jay was born August 23, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Pete and Alice (White) Ketzmier. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Jay married JoAnn Bailey, his loving wife of 44 years, on March 11, 1966. He was employed at H.A. International for more than 10 years. Jay loved life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being out-of-doors and mostly spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; two daughters and their husbands, Monica and Scott Snow, Walled Lake, Michigan; Mishelle and John Spatafore, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Tim, Mitchell, Cheyenne, Megan, Madeline and Sophia; a sister, Barbara Durbin and her children, Gary, Terry, Vicki and Tina, Columbus, Ohio; Jay's mother-in-law, Frances Horton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dayle and Barbara Bailey, Howard and Marcella Bailey, Bill and Becky Bailey; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH, 43230. Rev. Toby Cambron will officiate with interment in Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Friends may call at the Schoedinger East Chapel on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
