HILL Barbara J. Hill, age 80, of Westerville passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Friendship Village of Columbus. Born November 20, 1929, in Akron, OH, attended Miami University and graduated from
Ohio State University
. From 1965-1978 taught at Worthingway Middle School, 1978-1991 Director of Linworth Alternative Program. Member of Westerville City Council from 1974-1988. Preceded in death by mother Margaret Wright Knoch, step-father Carl H. Knoch, father George Hippensteal, and husband Jack Kenneth Hill. Survived by sons, Robert (Judith) Laird and Richard (Paula) Laird; step-children, Mike (Elizabeth) Hill, Particia Hill Freeh, Mark Hill, Pam (James) Hill Ward, and Tom (Raelene) Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Ken Kenworthy; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great- grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. There will also be a Celebration of Barb's Life from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at Little Turtle Country Club. Friends may contribute in her memory to Zusman Community Hospice, 1151 College Ave, Columbus, OH 43209
