Stella Claffey Obituary

CLAFFEY Stella A. Claffey, age 91, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Frank, daughter Lila Payne, and son Charles Claffey. She is survived by sons, Daniel (Nancy) and David Claffey; daughters, Anna Marie (Charles Eldon) Williams, Stella Courtney, Linda (Michael) Brown, Barbara (David) Richardson, and Lori Lambert; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Dortha Ross officiating. Her interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Messages may be sent to her family by visiting www.cotnerfuneralhome.com

Having grown up with Stella's Grandson Sam, I have known her for years and she always seemed like my own grandmother.. Stella was a great, strong woman whom will never be forgotten. My sympathy to the family and everyone Stella touched with her kindness.
