Floyd Jordan Obituary
JORDAN Floyd Jordan, 63, of Columbus, Ohio went to be with His Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, September 4, 2010 at OSU Hospital after a brief illness. Floyd was a loving father, grandfather, brother and husband. He attended East High School where he played football and track. He served in the United States Army; and after his service he was employed by Westinghouse, Techneglas for more than 20 years, and most recently Wal-Mart. He enjoyed all types of music and watching sports with family and friends. Floyd was a peacemaker, very easy going and non-confrontational. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Vandella Jordan, daughter Angela and brothers Ambrose, David, Jerry and Homer Jordan. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Brenda; sisters and brothers, Irene Zeller, Viola Bosley, George Jordan, Alfred (Princess) Jordan, Lennie (Odell) Boyd, Andrew (Harriett) Jordan, Elaine Walker and Kathleen Jordan; children, Floyd Jr., Timothy (Brandia), Carmen and Chaz Jordan; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration of life 11 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
