DAVIS Charles "Chuck" Davis, of Shreveport, LA, was granted his angel wings on January 8, 2011, after his battle with a lengthy illness. He was born March 4, 1952 to the late Mildred Davis and survived by his father, Harry "Norma" Davis of Palmetto, FL. Chuck graduated from McKeesport High School in 1970. He went on to work for Delphi in Columbus, OH for 28 years and transferred to GM of Shreveport to complete 30 years of service and retire. Chuck always enjoyed life to the fullest, looking for that next adrenaline rush. He always made time for his family and lifetime friends and never met a stranger. He touched the lives of many with his smile, generosity, and the sense of humor he was known for. Chuck is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharon; her son, Donnie and wife, Melissa and their three children, Becca, Lexi, and Abby; her son, Chad and wife, Janie and their son, Logan; his brother, Dana "Bud" Davis and wife, Jennifer of Columbus, OH; and sisters-in-law, Pam "Jan" of Logan, OH, Patty and husband, Patrick of Diamond Bar, CA, and Reda and husband, Bryan of Columbus, OH; along with countless nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, he will be missed by all that came to know him. Family and friends will gather at 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at ROSE-NEATH SOUTHSIDE for visitation. Service will be Friday, January 14, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA of LA Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA.
