Dorothy L. Callaghan

CALLAGHAN Dorothy L. Callaghan, age 93, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2011. From an early age, she developed a strong work ethic and a sense of confidence that stayed with her throughout her life. Dorothy retired from Sheraton Hotels and the American Heart Association. She loved playing cards with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Jane) Callaghan, Joseph "Pat" (Ruth) Callaghan, Judy Hoefler, Jerry (Mary) Callaghan and Branson (Terry) Kitzmiller; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by husbands Daniel Callaghan and Branson Kitzmiller, Jr., sister Mary Goble and brothers Joseph and Robert Litzinger. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229, funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N.
