TROUT Norma Jean (Thomas) Trout, 90, born December 13, 1920, passed August 4, 2011 in Dunnellon, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lewis M. Trout, 2005. Survivors include son, Mark (Linda) Trout of Dunnellon, FL; grandson, Jeremy (Darlena) Trout of Dunnellon, FL; granddaughter, Jennifer (Traver) Pierce of Kathleen, GA; great-grand-children, Daniel Trout, Zachary, Josiah, Levi, and Bethany Pierce. A native of Columbus she resided on the Hilltop for 55 years, graduating from West High and Capital University. Employed by the Columbus Board of Education she retired from John Burroughs Elementary as a first grade teacher in 1975 and moved to Florida where she resided until the time of her death. She was a member of SonRise Christian Church, 11150 SW 109th Place, Dunnellon, FL 34432. Graveside service and interment will be Friday, 11 a.m., August 25, 2011 at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to SonRise Christian Church.
