BAUGHMAN Patricia Ann (Brushart) Baughman, age 84, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in the comfort of her home after a 14 month battle with lung cancer. Patsy was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on December 28, 1926 to Daniel and Edna Brushart. She grew up in Portsmouth, and lived in Lancaster, Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington, Ohio for many years. She also lived in Stuart, Florida and Port St. Lucie West, Florida before returning to Columbus in 2007. She was predeceased by her husbands H. Herbert Jones, Ferdinand Loscocco and Howard Baughman, and her daughters Stephanie Good (Bruce) and Cassandra Murphy (David). She is survived by her dear sister, Linda Zoretic (Edward); her loving children, Henry Jones (Tina), Jessica Hutson (Ross), Constance Garish (Thomas) and Caroline Lucas (Jeffrey); her stepchildren, Deborah Block (Bob), Ann Swillinger, Marilyn McCalla (Ron), Joseph Loscocco (Marilyn), Peter Loscocco (Laurie), Howard Baughman, Jr., David Baughman, Sally Gower, and Mary Baughman. Much loved grandchildren, Rachel, Dehlia, Daniel, Jacob, Benjamin, Lacey, Tara, Kate, Jennifer, Charlotte, Brett, Michael, Lisa, Kelly, Raun, Matt, Christina, Nikki, David, Lara and Kim. 16 loved great-grandchildren including, Beatriz, Henry, and Olivia. Nieces and nephews, Ann Zoretic Ansel, Dan Zoretic, Amy Zoretic Maggard, Peter Zoretic; and dear friend, Barb McFarland; and Barb's daughter ,Lori Patsy was a gracious, elegant, beautiful, and fun-loving woman who took pride and pleasure in planting and tending flowers to bloom around her home. She loved painting, knitting, needlepoint, traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with her family. She cheerily costumed and decorated for every holiday without restraint and without fail. Those who knew and loved Patsy are encouraged to add an extra decoration at every holiday, in her memory. Patsy was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and for many years volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Florida. Special thanks to the ever-ready staff at First Community Village and Home Reach Hospice for all the wonderful care and compassion they have bestowed upon Patsy. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Patsy's memory.
