ADAMS Dirwin Dean Adams, 77, of Johnstown, passed away at his home on February 16, 2012. He was born to Irwin and Una Adams on March 31, 1934 in Chambers, Nebraska. Author of "Thoughts From an Old Highback Saddle," Dirwin loved writing poetry and recounting tales of the Old West. He enjoyed horseback riding, collecting cowboy gear, and making gifts for friends with his leather work. He is preceded in death by son Daniel Adams. He is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Pauline; daughter, Rebecca, son-in-law, Lee, his grandchildren, Steve, Mindy, and Adam with wife, Keyla and great-granddaughter, Victoria. A Funeral Service will be held at CROUSE-KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. An online memorial can be located at www.cksammons.com
