Myrtle Ann Compton

COMPTON Myrtle Ann Compton, age 76, of Columbus, passed away March 12, 2012 at the Columbus West Park care facility. Ann was born to the late Clarence and Luella Eden of Letard, W.V. She graduated from Point Pleasant High School and was employed by National City Bank (PNC) for 30 years. Ann is preceded in death by her husband James L. Compton and son Barry R. Roush. Survived by her sister, Verda Smith; brothers, William (Bill) Eden and Clarence (Marge) Eden Jr.; grandchildren, Jonothan Roush, Kelly Ann Roush and Shane Roush, all of Boston, MA.; nieces, Lisa and Artie Rookard, Margie Ann Eden and Angie and Travis Pennington; nephews, Jeff and Shawna Watkins, Michael and Jane Eden, Robert and Cheryl Eden; numerous great-nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Wednesday 4-7 p.m., where service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Edwin Lewis officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
