Ronald John Servon Sr.

SERVON Ronald John Servon, Sr., age 73, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2012. He was born January 10, 1939 in South River, NJ to the late John and Mae (Anasovich) Servon, also predeceased by son Peter Gwilym. Following High School Ron enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed playing softball and cheering on the Cubs, Yankees and OSU Buckeyes. He retired from Honda/T.S. Trim where he worked in Human Resources, and will be remembered for his outgoing personality and strong work ethic. Ron's sense of humor and easy going personality allowed him to never meet a stranger, but always a new friend. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Capoccia) Servon; children, Walter Gwilym, Susan (Gary) Drown, Tracy Wise, Michael (Lisa) Gwilym, Ronald (Amber) Servon, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Pamela Gwilym; beloved grand-children, Tanya, Tim, Alischa, Zac, Joel, Olivia, Luke, Michelle, Alexis, Mackenzie; several great-grand-children; brother, John (June) Servon, Jr.; sisters, Christine (James) Wladyko and Leona (Chet) Smith; nieces and nephews; and last but certainly not least, his beloved companion Cleo. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E.
