Carol and I are both Heidelberg graduates. We met through the Columbus Heidelberg Alumni Association while we lived in Columbus. I believe I was her first voice student in the mid sixties. We had a wonderful friendship with the bond of music and reading. She helped make music for so many people, and I feel blessed to have known her. Please accept my sympathy!

When I was in H.S. back in the 70's - Your Mom was our choir director at Reynoldsburg UMC. I loved being in choir and having her as our Director.
What a beautiful lady in spirit and heart.

To the family,
Your mother was a special lady. She encouraged me as a new member of the Columbus, Ohio music community in the early 80's. I shall not forget her kindness.

Dear Kathy, David, Dan, and all your children,
As you know, Carol and I had a very special relationship beginning in 1963 when I first joined The Saturday Music Club. As an accompanist, I will forever be grateful to her for choosing music that constantly challenged me. On behalf of myself, my family, and The Saturday Music Club, I send my condolences on your loss, and I wish for you many happy moments in the future as you recall the wonderful memories you have had with Carol. I have the CDs I made of the best of her faculty recitals, and sometimes I just sit in my office and play them on the computer to remind me of all the good times we had together over the years. She was indeed a gem that left sparkles wherever she went.
