Obituary Condolences

JAYCOX Beverly J. (Ryan) Jaycox, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Orange County, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 5, 2012. She was born July 25, 1932 to the late Carl and Minnie Ford. Beverly was a police officer in Columbus for several years, including a time working for Mayor Jack Sensenbrenner. Beverly and her husband, Edward (Ted) Jaycox lived much of their lives in Central Ohio. They also lived in Centerville and Perrysburg, Ohio before retiring and moving to Punta Gorda in 1998. They were both faithful to the Punta Gorda United Methodist Church. Beverly will be greatly missed by her husband of 30 years, Ted; step-son, Thomas (Debbie) Jaycox; niece, Janet Felty and nephew, Monty Ford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two brothers Ted and Bob Ford. A service celebrating Beverly's life was held in Punta Gorda on April 23, 2012. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 in Africa Cemetery. At the family's requests, flowers or donations will not be accepted.
