THACKER Thomas R. "Tommy" Thacker, age 66, of Logan, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at his residence. Born February 11, 1946, to the late Jess and Leora Thacker, Tommy was a U.S. Army veteran (Viet Nam era) and retired from Auto Auction in Obetz. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved son Charles M. Dummitt and sister Sharon K. Thacker. Tommy is survived by his daughter, Maria (Richard) Corne; ex-wife and beloved friend, Connie Sue Thacker; grandchildren, Leora Dummitt and Richard E. Corne, Jr.; brother, Vernon (Helen) Thacker; brother-in-law, Dale (Mildred) Dummitt; nieces and nephews. Friends may visit, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 2 (and one hour prior to funeral), at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH, 43147, where the funeral service will be held, Friday, Aug. 3rd, 11:30 a.m. Rev. Bruce Livingston officiating. Interment to follow at Union Grove Cemetery, Canal Winchester.
