Donald Joseph Paoletti

PAOLETTI Donald Joseph Paoletti, age 83, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Kobacker House. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Pauline (Biagini) Paoletti, brother Louis, and his wife Olga (Yovan) Paoletti. Survived by his daughter, Morena (Beau) Rugg; son, Dr. Donald (Romaine) Paoletti; grandchildren, Meredith and Sam Rugg and Roman and Joey Paoletti; brother, Aldo (Joan) Paoletti. Don along with his brother Aldo, co-owned Paoletti's Restaurant in downtown Columbus. Don, an Army Veteran, graduated from Aquinas High School and The Ohio State University. Don's great passion was coaching. He coached the Upper Arlington "Bearcat" football team at Northam Park for over ten years; in the the Columbus Public Schools, he coached several sports at Brookhaven, Mifflin and Linden-McKinley high schools. Friends may call Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 1177 West Fifth Avenue from 5-8 p.m. to share memories of Don with his family.
