BLESCH Dr. William Robert Blesch, age 90, of Pickerington, died October 12, 2012 at his home. Born March 29, 1922 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Carl and Edith (Nightwine) Blesch, he was a World War II veteran and a 1950 graduate of The Ohio State University Medical School. William was a member of the Columbus Country Club and Jefferson Meadows Country Club, Beta Theta Pi, was affiliated with Mt. Carmel East and West Staff Physicians, St. Ann's and St. Anthony, Grant and Children's Hospitals. He was a member of the Gahanna, Pickerington and Gillie Senior Centers and loved reading, golfing and playing cards. William is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Beverly; children, Carl (Vicky) Blesch of Littleton, CO, Christopher (Melinda) of Rochester Hills, MI, Elizabeth de Janes of Norcross, GA, and Katherine (Douglas) Ray of Mattoon, IL; grandchildren, Rebecca, Rachel, Hannah, and Sarah Blesch, William, Nathan, Alexa and Gabrielle Ray, John Michael and Kristen de Janes. Friends may visit 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 530 McNaughten Rd., Columbus, OH 43213, where memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Chris Eldridge officiating.
