RODGERS David E. Rodgers, II of Amanda, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 in Ashville as the result of an auto accident. He was born on September 15, 1963 in Columbus to David E. Rodgers, Sr. and the late Jonda L. (Lindsey) Rodgers. David was an Ironworker and currently was working as a foreman at O.S.U. Medical Center. He was a member of Local 172 Ironworkers in Columbus a graduate of Teays Valley H.S. and a member of VFW Post 2505 of Lockbourne. He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing especially with his Dad. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle D. (Ferguson) Rodgers; son, David E. Rodgers III; and daughter, Devin Rodgers ( his Pumkin Pie) both of Chicago; father and step-mother, David Sr. (Connie) Rodgers of Amanda; sisters, Tangela, Terri, and Sherry; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Carol Ferguson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Julie and Bryan Stage, Lonnie II and Christina Ferguson, and Brian and Jo Lynn Ferguson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog Labra. He was also loved and will be greatly missed by his many many friends. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at the OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with Rev. Ron Goodling officiating. Interment will follow in Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
