MOODY Jerry Lee Moody, age 65 of Columbus, died unexpectedly at work on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Born December 23, 1946 in Athens to the late Carl H. and Amy Jo (Sanders) Moody, he was a graduate of Chauncey-Dover High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. He was Administrative Director of Radiology Services at Children's Hospital, where he had worked for 43 years, and was a graduate of The Ohio State University. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy Moody; daughter, Buffy (Jeff McCoy) Moody; and son, Kevin Moody, all of Columbus; granddaughters, Kenedy Moody and Presley McCoy; sister, Susan (Ray Blasko) Moody; sister-in-law, Brenda (Monty) Roberts; and close friends, Ed and Jewel Tatman, and Paul and Patty Stickel. Preceded in death by his brother Jim Moody. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Ray Blasko officiating. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery.
