FORTE Joseph A. Forte, age 81, of Westerville, passed away November 18, 2012 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was in the restaurant business with his mother at Fortes Restaurant on Cleveland Avenue for 34 years, then he and his wife opened Forte's Pasta and Pizza at the Convention Center, retiring after 20 years. Graduate of Westerville High School, class 1950. Air Force veteran of Korean War. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Josephine (Trapasso); children, Rita (Michael) Sweet of Westerville, Frank (Chris) of Milford, OH, Felicia Bernardo of Westerville and Angelo of Hilliard; grandchildren, SPC Joseph (Stephanie) Forte, U.S. Army, Ft. Bragg, NC, CPT Carl (Amy) Forte, U.S. Army, Ft. Bragg, NC, SPC James (Mandy) Forte, U.S. Army, Ft. Campbell, KY and Maria Bernado of Westerville; great-granddaughters, Arinna and Kenzie; sister, Betty Saltarelli of Westerville; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Phyllis Forte. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday 5-8 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Anthony Dinovo, celebrant. Interment St. Jospeh Cemetery.
