GREENE Norma L. Greene, 84 of Albany, Ohio went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2012, at the Convillarium of Indian Run, in Dublin, after a brief illiness. She had been a resident at the Emerald Crossing Assisted Living in Dublin. Born on April 11, 1928, daughter of Guy Border and Mildred Irene Poling McDaniel. A 1946 graduate of Albany High School. She married Davis Stanley Green on March 31, 1946 in Nelsonville. She was a full-time homemaker and mother of six children, a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Athens, an active member of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and in various other church activities, loved reading and spending time with her family. Survived by children, Randy (Melanie) of Belpre, OH, Joseph (Marianne) of Cleveland, OH, Patrick (Pam) of Tombstone, AZ., Daniel (Ann) of Dublin, OH., Melanie (Jay) Brown of Sunbury, OH., and Katrina (Karl) Theil of Apple Valley, MN.; grandchildren, Adam and Nathan, Perry and Paige, Nathan and Krystal Greene, Caleb and Aaron Brown; and seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Glenn (Elizabeth) McDaniel, Janice (Jim) Elliott, Joyce Stotts; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by very dear and life long friends, Blanche Parmiter and Julia Stanley. Preceded in death by her spouse of 65 years Davis, and brothers-in-law John Edwin and Edward Greene and James Stotts. Services 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Rolling Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Buford Brown officiating. Burial in Athens Memory Gardens.
