HOWSMON Mary Joyce Howsmon (Snyder), 82, of Galloway, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. She was born November 12, 1930 to the late Luther (Roy) Snyder and Rachel Snyder (Dunfee) in Fayette County. She was a Teacher's Aide in South Franklin Elementary school (Harmon Elementary). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2005, four brothers Dale, Roger, Leroy and Darrell Snyder and a sister Ileen Hughs. She is survived by her son, Michael Howsmon of Galloway; a brother, Douglas (Don) Snyder; a sister, Claribel (Billie) Taylor; a grandson, Zachary M. Howsmon; a great-granddaughter, Kayliegh J. Sedberry; her caregivers, Sherrie Young, Elaine Winstead, Patsy Peterson and long time and final moments caregiver, Sherri E. Voltz and all the staff and caregivers at Columbus West Park Day Care Center. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at the MORROW FUNERAL HOME in Jeffersonville with Doug Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Milledgeville-Plymouth cemetery.
