COOK Jean Kibele Cook, 66, died at Kobacker House Thursday morning November 29, 2012 after a courageous fight with cancer. Preceded in death by her mother Betty Stirling Kibele. Survived by her husband, Joseph R. Cook; sister, Judith K. Isaac; father, Robert E. Kibele; brother-in-law, Frederick M. Isaac; family members, Hope and Draggan Mihailovich and their children; Tina and Francois Goize and their children; her beloved cat, Sally; and many loving friends, neighbors, and former students. Jean taught at Colonial Hills Elementary School, Worthington City Schools, for 34 years, teaching many grade levels and nurturing countless students. She graduated from Grandview High School in 1964 and held undergraduate and masters degrees from The Ohio State University College of Education. She was a 40-year member of First Community Church in Marble Cliff. She loved her garden, her pets, all animals, taking care of her family and looking out for her neighbors and friends. Sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. A service of celebration and memory will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in Burkhart Chapel, First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, Ohio. The family will receive friends immediately following in Brownlee Hall.
