KNIPE Wilson Knipe III, age 88, died Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Graduate of The Ohio State University. Veteran US Navy, WWII. Longtime Little League coach at Como Field. Retired from Battelle and Rockwell Industries. Member of Bexley United Methodist Church and member of the choir. Active instructor with Body Recall, he was an avid golfer and exerciser. Preceded in death by wife Mary Louise "Susie" Knipe, parents Wilson and Edith Knipe II, brother Warren. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Stephen and Clarice Lynn Knipe; grandchildren, Karyn and Kevin Knipe, all of Napoleon, OH; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, F. Michael and Edith Mae Herrel of Bexley, OH; nephews, Daniel and Michael Herrel; niece, Nancy Sue Nuss and their children; devoted friend, Barbara Lambert. Friends may call at the SOUTHWICK-GOOD & FORTKAMP FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. High St., Friday 4-7 p.m., where funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Private inurnment.
