KEATON Delderie W. Keaton, affectionately known as "Dell", went home to Glory to be with the love of her life on Sunday morning, December 30, 2012 at Riverside Hospital. She retired from Franklin County Children Services after 18 years of service and was a member of Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, attended the Ohio State University. An active member of Alpha Chapter #1, Order of Eastern Star, F.& A. A. Y. M. P.H.O. N. C. where she served as Worthy Matron for 5 years. She served as Secretary and or Treasurer of Queen Elizabeth Court #1 Heroines of Jericho, St. Catherine's Council #1 Council of Crusaders, Electa Court #1, Royal and Exalted Degree of the Amaranth and Ceres Court #1 Daughters of Isis. She was the Past Grand Treasurer of the Ohio Grand Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, Past Royal Matron of Electa Court #1 of the Royal Exalted Degree of the Amaranth. Past Grand Recordress of Delphi Grand Court Daughters of Isis, and Past National Imperial Recordress of Daughters of Isis. She also served as President of the Altar Rosary Club at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. She loved these organizations with all of her heart. Preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 42 years, LeRoy A. Keaton, Jr., mother Edna B. Ward, father Hayes Ward. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Stephanie, Jennifer, Daric, and Alex Keaton; grandchildren, Dion, Darin, Danielle, Dasia, Deonte, Davion, and Airrea; brother, Ira E. (Pam) Jackson; sister-in-law, Sandra Keaton; best friend, Candy Clinkscale, close friends, Hilda Belcher and Alan Jones; her extended children, Dominick Braxton, Dion Jones, Antonia Reid, Michelle Dyson, Stacy Neal, Sonji Waits, Nona Lee, and her precious puppy Murphy Charles Keaton. Service of Memory will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Rd., Columbus, OH 43219. Rev. Donald Washington, Pastor.
