LORD Patricia "Pat" Lord, 66, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her loving husband and family. Pat had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1986 coming from Worthington, OH. She was born December 30, 1939 in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of the late Edward and Ella (Elms) Gilroy. For the past five years, Pat worked for Executive Title in Bonita Springs as their Marketing Director. From 1986 to 2001 she was also the Marketing Director for the former First National Bank of Bonita Springs and for Colonial Bank after they merged. She served two terms on Board of Directors of the Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce, served on the Executive Committee and was an Ambassador for over 10 years. She was a 2001 graduate of the Leadership Bonita class. She also served on the Board for the Bonita Springs Assistance Office and the Bonita Springs Board of Realtors. She was a member of the Bonita Springs Rotary Club, the CRA and the Main Street program overseeing the revitalization of Old US 41. She was very active and participated in many Relay for Life events as she was a cancer survivor. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Richard L. "Dick" Lord of Bonita Springs; five children, Robert E. Klumpp of Columbus, OH, Connie Sue Lord of Columbus, OH, Michael J. (Betsy) Lord of Wilmington, NC, Stephanie Klumpp of Columbus, OH and Samuel C. (Michele C.) Lord of Columbus, OH; brother, Edward Gilroy of Grundy, CO; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Richard L. Lord, Jr. in 1992. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, January 14, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Community Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Michael Bickford, officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice 27200 Imperial St., Bonita Springs, FL 34135, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, or the Noon Rotary Club of Bonita Springs.
