Carter Isaac James Carter, 89, of Reynoldsburg, passed into the loving arms of God on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Isaac was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran; retired from Whitehall Yearling High School after 32 years service. He was a devoted Catholic and long-time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Isaac was a devoted husband and loving father who cared deeply about providing for his family. He loved building and traveling to Canada and Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann whom he was married to for 64 years, parents Ralph and Roscoe. Isaac is survived by his loving children, Tom (Mary Ann), Mark (Carina), James (Jane), Chris (Colleen), and Melissa; his grandchildren, Thomas, Timothy, Amy, Silas, Nigel, Myra, Joseph, Jonathan, Erin, Caleb, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Leah, Owen, Luke, Sylvia, Calvin, Vivian, Claudia, and Hudson. Mass of Christian Burial for his family at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Reynoldsburg. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of Cotner Funeral Home, Reynoldsburg.
