Popovich Gloria Mae Popovich, 85, of Delaware passed away early Sunday morning March 17, 2013 in the Hospice room at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 17, 1928 in Columbus to Jennings and Theo (Sherman) Siders. She was a homemaker and had also worked for Columbia Gas in Columbus. She was a member of the Delaware Eagles #376 and she enjoyed gardening, sewing, being a mom and grandma and when younger, playing basketball. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, Nick; sons, Robert of Waldo, Nick Jr. of Southport, NC and John (Pamela) of Delaware; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother, William Siders of Tempe, Arizona; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas Ray Popovich, daughter Mary Louise Popovich, and two sisters. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 19th from 6 - 8 p.m. at the SNYDER-RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware and where funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 20th at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
