Nicodemus Floyd "Nick" Nicodemus, age 94, passed away on March 25, 2013. Born in Obetz, Ohio on August 12, 1918 to the late Alva Lester and Clara Nicodemus. He was a retired roofer and sheet metal worker. Floyd had a passion for cars, motorcycles and NASCAR. He was a life member of the AMA and Enduro Riders Association. Preceded in death by his wife Goldie, infant daughter Caroline, son Monty, brothers Norman and Richard, sister Mary Ruth, daughter-in-law Darlyn, son-in-law Bill and granddaughter Shelly. He is survived by daughter, Linda "Lou" Smith; sons, Lynn "Butch" Nicodemus, Jerry Nicodemus and Dana (Lea) Nicodemus; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; relatives; special friends, Dick and Bev Klamfoth; and families. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A service officiated by Pastor Doug Shriner will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 29, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Obetz Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in his name to the
