Cross Margaret Ann (Vandivier) Cross - "Peggy", age 88, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Worthington Christian Village in Columbus, Ohio. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents CJ "Van" and Erma (Griffith) Vandivier and her husband of 50 years, David L. Cross. Peggy is survived by her loving sons, Larry (Sharon) Cross, Steve Cross and Joe (Carolyn) Cross; grandchildren, Julie (Jason) Peter, Jon (Jackie) Cross, Jennifer (Eric) Bokesch, Matt (Joanna) Cross, Shasta (Nate) Williams, and Sean (Carla) Cross; great-grandchildren, Ava, Sarah and Alex Peter, Sammy and Joey Bokesch and Tara Cross. Peggy was born August 26, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a long time resident of Columbus, Minerva Park and Worthington. She was a graduate of North High School (1941) and The Ohio State University (1945). She was a long time member of the Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church in Westerville, Ohio. Peggy was a warm soul and always had an open heart and her love of family and friends never wavered. Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial service will follow at Homer Cemetery, Homer, Ohio. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Worthington Christian Village for the amazing care and love provided to Peggy over the last 7 years.
