You were truly one of the most influential women in my life. You were so strong and beautiful. Owen was such a family because of your loving spirit. Fondly I remember, you would guide our Friday 5am breakfast discussions with dignity and school pride. Everyday your love of children and learning leads me into the classrooms of NYC but always with Detroit and you in my heart!!!
