Putinsky Thomas James Putinsky, 71, Westerville, passed away June 25, 2013. He was born to the late Fred and Ann Putinsky in Shadyside, OH and graduated from Shadyside High School in 1960. He then married Saundra Putinsky (nee Lewis) in 1964. Thomas owned a business in Shadyside and worked for several years for JC Penney Insurance and later for Metropolitan Insurance Company. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two tours as a member of the United States Marine Corps; member of the Buckeye Leather Crafters of Columbus; member of the Leatherneck Motorcycle Group and was an avid fisherman, especially in Florida. Thomas coached girls soccer for more than 10 years. Thomas is survived by his wife, Saundra of Westerville; daughters, Kara Putinsky of Westerville and Erika Putinsky of Atlanta, GA; one granddaughter, Zoe McCoy of Westerville.
