Morrill Alice Burns Morrill, 102, passed away peacefully on Friday July 5, 2013 at Mother McCrory Manor. Alice was a graduate of St. Mary of the Springs (Ohio Dominican University) class of 1932 and a parish member of Immaculate Conception Church for over 70 years. She worked for the State of Ohio, the lunch program for the Catholic School system and retired from Ohio State University where she spent many years working in the Speech and Hearing Department. She was preceded in death by her parents James H. and Lottie Burns (Tyler), her sisters Gwendolyn Zahner, Sister Mary Vincentia, O.P. and her husband Paul D. Morrill. She is survived by her children, Michael (Marcia) Morrill, Daniel (Sandy) Morrill and Paul (Patty) Morrill; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the EGAN-RYAN NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd., between 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E. North Broadway. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. Family requests donations to Immaculate Conception Church or Mother McCrory Manor in lieu of flowers.
