Obituary Condolences

Hopkins Sue Ann Danner Hopkins, age 85 of New Albany and Loudonville, OH, passed away, Thursday, July 4, 2013. Sue Ann was born April 10, 1928 in Mansfield, Ohio and grew up in Loudonville, the only child of the late Luther and Verda Haudenschild Danner. Sue was a 1946 graduate of Loudonville High School, a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Pharmacy, and on August 6, 1950 married Vernon Hopkins. Sue spent most of her working career in Danner's Drug Store and then did relief work in various pharmacies in the surrounding communities. Sue had an outgoing personality and was determined to stay active. She enjoyed golf, bridge, skiing and spent much of her retirement years traveling with Vern in their RV and settled briefly in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Above all else however, Sue enjoyed family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by her son, Bill and his wife Janice; step-daughters, Patricia (Steve) Mundy and Marcia (Jack) Farley; grandchildren, Erich Hopkins and Sarah (James) Klamfoth; step-grandchildren, Jason (Lisa) Green, Jennifer (Brian) Righter, Christopher (Taisa) Mundy, Kimberly (Keith) Chometsky, Robert (Marcie) Farley and Elisa Farley; great-grandchildren, Jaden and Kylie Hopkins; step-great grandchildren, Kaetlin and Robert Bowling, Alyssa and Colton Righter, Kalen and Kenna Chometsky, Taylor, Isaac and Hannah Farley; faithful companions, Sammie and Alex; and other extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Vernon Hopkins, on August 31, 2007 A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 25 at 11 a.m. in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 N. Market St., Loudonville, OH with Rev. Kathleen Walkerow officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Amity Hospice, 3863 Trueman Ct., Suite 200, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
