Wunderle Jack Arthur Wunderle, age 90, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, August 1, 2013. Jack was preceded in death by son Jeff, devoted wife of 63 years Jeri, and parents Faye and Farrell Wunderle. Surviving loved ones include daughters, Jill (Larry) McIntyre, Jan (David) Bosley, and Jody Wunderle; precious grandchildren, Mandy (Kelly) Queen, Molly (Jim) Andrioff, Mark Bosley, Kelsey Winebrenner; and great grandson, Jackson Queen. Jack graduated from North High School, where he was recognized as an all-city basketball player, and then attended The Ohio State University where he received his Chemical Engineering degree. He was a decorated Army Corp B-52 bomber pilot in WWII, a Mason-Blue Lodge, Minerva Park volunteer fireman, retired Deputy Director of Air Pollution Control for the Ohio EPA, an avid fisherman and golfer, and an active member of the Ascension Lutheran Church. Family and friends gravitated to Jack Wunderle as he was a kind, generous, patient, and caring man in God's image. He will be missed by all who knew him and can be honored on Monday, August 5 from 4-7 p.m. at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 South State Street, Westerville. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6 at Ascension Lutheran Church with interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
