Ollie Ramage

1935 - 2013

Ramage Ollie Ramage, age 78, of Pataskala, Ohio, formerly of Coshocton, passed away August 7, 2013 at Tuscany Gardens after a 6 month battle with cancer. She was born March 25, 1935 in Boone, NC to the late William and Elsie Summit; also preceded in death by her daughter Barrie Douple, brother William Summit and sister Jalamae (Hilly) Maxwell, brother-in-law Dick Owens. Ollie graduated from Fresno High School, Class of '53, and had a long and successful career with Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts. She enjoyed sewing and scrapbooking and will be remembered for her ability to light up a room with her smile and cheerful disposition. She will be forever remembered by her daughters, Jerri (Mike) Shafer and Lori (Ron) Karn; son-in-law, Bryan Douple; grandchildren, Rachel Karn, Emily Karn and Jordan Shafer; siblings, Robert (Georgia) Summit, Martha Owens, Jacqueline (Dave) John and Sherrie (John) Grimm; sister-in-law, Ann Summit; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her faithful dog Corby. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 with visiting from 1-2 p.m. During the service, friends and family will be encouraged to share a special memory.
