Everhart Robert Westley Everhart age 80, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at his residence after a long battle with cancer. He graduated from The Ohio State University in Engineering and earned his Masters Degree from The University of Dayton. He was a 2nd Lt in the Air National Guard. His career as an electrical engineer spanned from North American Rockwell to Bell Laboratories. He chaired many professional and club organizations, as well as served in many capacities in his church. Besides being an avid reader, he had numerous hobbies, especially silversmithing. He and Anne spent many winters in his favorite state of Arizona. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Anastasia; daughters, Dina (Eric) Cole, Jacqui (Robert) Welsh, Jennie (Richard) Walgren; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Linda) Everhart; brother-in-law, Richard (Judith) D'Angelo; nephew, Kevin (Cindy) Everhart; niece, Karen Everhart; grand nephew, Zane Bedford. Preceded in death by grandson Christopher Wright, daughter Susan Wright, parents Charles and Mary Everhart. Many thanks to the Pallative team, Mt Carmel Hospice and to Home Instead. Friends may call Monday 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. and Tuesday 10-11 a.m. immediately prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1200 S. Waggoner Rd., Reynoldsburg. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Make-A-Wish Foundation or The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network.
