Ferrari, D.D.S. Robert F. Ferrari, D.D.S., age 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. He was born October 11, 1923, in Piney Fork, Ohio, to Victor and Mary (Huml) Ferrari. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University Dental College and an Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Delta Sigma Delta-Dental Fraternity; a life member of the Columbus Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Society and the American Dental Society. With his wife, Gilda, they travelled extensively in the U.S., including Hawaii, Canada, and many countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Eileen Ford, Mary Agnes Captor and Dorothy Wilton and his brother Victor Ferrari. He is survived by his wife, Gilda (Melaragno) Ferrari, to whom he had been married for 59-years; his sisters, Eleanor Cooper and Natalie Straus; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ferrari and Elvira Carter; brothers-in-law, Robert Captor, Felix (Cecilia) Melaragno and Victor Melaragno; plus his extended family of nieces, nephews and friends. There is no visistation. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Columbus. Burial to follow, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.
