Svekric William H. "Billy" Svekric, 51, of Marysville died Saturday morning, October 12, at his home following an extended illness. He was Vice President of Welding Consultants, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. He was a 1980 graduate of Northland High School and attended Ohio State University. He held memberships in the American Welding Society and the American Society of Nondestructive Testing. He enjoyed working on cars, playing golf, and fishing. Billy was born November 26, 1961 in Cleveland to William A. and Beverly A. Bisson Svekric. He married the former Julie A. Fabbro in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of almost 26 years, Julie; their son, Eric J. Svekric of the home; his parents, William A. and Beverly A. Svekric of New Albany; a sister and brother-in-law, Beth M. Svekric-Brown and Tim Brown of Manhattan, NY; an uncle, Fred Svekric of Euclid, Ohio. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME where a prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Father David Poliafico will conduct the prayer service and the funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery near Magnetic Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice in Billy's memory. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
