Howard Newton Bullock Obituary
Bullock Howard Newton Bullock, 95, died peacefully at home on November 4, 2013, after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Arminta Hennis Bullock and his wife of 65 years, Helen Barnes Bullock. Howard attended North High School and graduated from The Ohio State University School of Law. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. He was a partner in the law firm of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur. Howard served as a board member of Travelers Aid and Godman Guild, as well as president of the University Club. He was a member of Scioto Country Club and The Faculty Club of The Ohio State University. He and his family attended the First Community Church and the King Avenue United Methodist Church. He was active in Kiwanis and the Masonic Temple. Howard spent many happy years as a member of the Rockwell Springs Trout Club and was partial to a size 16 Adams fly. Howard is survived by his sister, Ruth Chastang; and his children, Joy Rinehart (I. Lynn), Nancy Blake, James H. Bullock (Elizabeth), and Steven G. Bullock (Susan); in addition to eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 1740 Zollinger Rd. in Upper Arlington, with visitation from 12Noon to the time of service. Rev. Leonard Confar officiating. Entombment to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family wishes for donations to be made to The OSU, James Cancer Hospital.
