Mikolajcik Dr. Emil "Mike" Mikolajcik, age 87, passed away December 11, 2013. Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed. Founding member of St. Timothy Parish. Received his B.S. from the University of Connecticut and his M.S. and Ph.D. from OSU. Longtime Professor in the Department of Food, Science and Technology at The Ohio State University. He received numerous awards and had a profound impact on hundreds of students. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jane (Meder); daughters, Katherine (Brendan) Bey and Mary Alice (Matt) Kaminski; grandchildren, Michelle and Katelyn Bey and Colleen and Margaret Mary Kaminski; many other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Road. A Prayer Service will be held at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy Church, 1088 Thomas Lane. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
