Jim was my co-pilot in VS-31 and a good one. I had a great time kidding him about a requirement to document all his miscues on a NAVAIRTESTCEN report to his Dad. He often responded that his brother was a test pilot, his father a VADM, and that his claim to fame was taking five years to get through the Academy. Many fond memories from so long ago.

Our condolences to the family. We were co-workers of Jim, he had a great spirit and we never remember him not smiling. You always felt better after an encounter with Jim. Praying God will comfort you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Ramsey Family,
I was saddened to hear about Jim. He was always such a happy person, who brought a lot of joy to everyone with his positive attitude and his corny jokes! He really did have a million of them. I loved making fun of his crazy eyebrows. He will be missed.

Mary Lee, Michal, Christian and to the whole family. We are praying for you all and are so sad with this news.
