I don't like going to see a doctor, but going to see Dr Konold was more like going to see an old friend that happened to be my doctor. Lori and I extend our condolences and our prayers to the Konold and Ross families. Dan was truely a good man who did his profession, his community, and his family proud. May God bless you all.

My deepest condolences to Dan's patients, friends and family. I graduated with Dan, and remember him well. Had fun with him during an otherwise stressful time. One of my fondest memories was the OUCOM talent night. Of course Dr D and the DRG Blues Busters Band stole the show...Rest in Peace my friend...

So many memories of those summers at Lake Erie with all of us cousins. Danny was taken from our family way too soon. At least we our comforted by the knowledge that Danny is with his mom and dad, Buddy and George, and his Heavenly Father. God bless our family in this time of sorrow.

Just like so many others, we were shocked to hear about Dr.Konold. May his family find peace in the fact that he lived his life to the fullest.
He was an inspiration to us. His smile could light up a room and he always had time to listen. Dr. Dan was a very successful Doctor who accomplished so much in his short life. He was also a very special person. It will be difficult to fill his shoes.
We pray that the family will find some comfort knowing how many other's lives he has touched. We are thankful for the years that he was our Dr. and friend.

Dr. Konold will be sorely missed in this day of physicians who don't take the time to truly know their patients. He always made sure he had plenty of time to understand what was going on with his patient, had a great smile, and when needed, just the right words to make someone's day a little brighter.

I am in terrible shock. Not only was he my dr. Since before his license his father was as well. But to me he seemed more than that. A friend even. He saved my life from stage four cancer. I was his first patient to tell that they were pregnant. I have been with him and Tosha for 20+ years. He always listen to every thing I had to say. Even if it wasn't medical. Always quick with a joke and to make sure he said hey trouble when he walked in the door. He would introduce me to his students as a miracle. Prayers and thoughts to his family and friends. Love you Dr, Dan. Rest in peace.

Our prayers and condolences to Dan and his family. I had the pleasure of being Dan's colleague over the last 12 years. His youngest daughter and my second daughter were also born on the same day at Mount Carmel East so we were able to share that wonderful experience as well. Dan will be greatly missed by his patients. So sad!!

Dan was a good friend and golfing buddy while I worked at COPC. I was shocked to hear of his passing while away on vacation. He will be deeply missed and touched the lives of so many people. I'm glad my time with him was always doing what he most enjoyed, golf, work and talking about his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. K passing. He was our family doctor for the last few years and was there when my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. DR K was our family physician for the last 15 years. We were both shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. We always looked forward to our office visits, the verbal exchanges, his listening to our complaints and whines, our listening to his jokes, and then we'd get what we came for; his sound, professional medical advice and referral. He and his "right hand" gal, Tasha were a great team, always considerate, caring, compassionate and sensitive to our heaith care needs. We will miss our confidant and our friend. Dr. Dan, who I liked to refer to as an Arnold look alike. We have been on a path for well over 20 years,
In every day of your life, there are opportunities to perform little kindnesses for others, both by conscious acts of will and unconscious example.
Each smallest act of kindness - even just words of hope when they are needed, the remembrance of a birthday, a compliment that engenders a smile - reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away.
You embodied these things and touched not only my life but many, therefor this is not a good by, but its a prayer. That the lord our God keep your wife Daughters,family and friends in his loving arms and care till we all see each other again. Take care my friend and thank you.

Doctor Konold once told me at a check up once that his mother said he was hatched out of bird poop on a fence. I knew then and there that there would never be another genuine doctor who cares about making his patients not only feel comfortable but also a smile to their faces. I am so sad.
