Hubert Walls Obituary

Walls Hubert F. Walls, departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2016. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired employee of United Building Services. Preceded in death by his biological mother Nellie, mother who raised him Ira Bell Brazel, father William Brazel, sisters Dorothy Moses and Juanita Banks, son Hubert Walls, Jr. He leaves to rejoice in his home going celebration, former wife, Hattie Walls; daughter, Cherl (Odell) Clark; son, Mark (Crystal) Walls; like a son, Brian Watson; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Bethel Temple Church, 2840 Lockbourne Road. Bishop Dane D. Clark, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by C. D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave.

I am so sorry to hear of Herbie's passing. We just talked last month. I will miss him dearly. Herb worked at Fulleton's Law Office for many years and was a very dear friend of mine.

Grace and peace to the family of Herb Walls. Cheryl, I will continually pray for you strength in the Lord. Herb graduated this life and is free from pain and shortness of breath. He lived a rich and full life as only he could. Herb lived life his way with no regrets. I am blessed to have been his friend for 36 wonderful years full of memories. The last two weeks were the most fulfilling because we could laugh and talk about old times. We never said goodbye but instead we would say see you later. Herb I will see you later. Chery remember on thing we will see him again. To Live is Christ, and to die is gain.

I didn't realize just how hard this would hit me until I actually seen the obituary. You will be missed very much. Thank you for being such an inspiration in my life growing up & as an adult. Can't believe my uncle is gone. You were a good man uncle Hubert and although we didn't get to see each other as much as we would have liked I know u loved me and I loved u dearly. I'm going to miss your smile and laughs about my driving now there's no more pain no more bad days now u can rejoice in the house of the lord with your son and sisters who u missed and loved so much. I love u and will miss u so much.
