Uncle Jack was one of those people that loved life, his family and friends; and made a big difference in all the lives he touched. His contributions live on in those lives.

Jack was an inspiration (to me and many others), a mentor, and friend. From the first time we met, through the great times in TAS and flying N6019Y, to our last recent phone call, Jack was unique, unpredictable (in the best ways), hilariously funny, and a wonderful humanist. He loved people and people loved him. We will miss him dearly.

Condolences and prayers for Professor Eggspuehler's family. For 43 years I was privileged to know Jack first as my professor and then as my mentor, friend and colleague. He truly changed my life, along with the lives of many others. He added so much to The Ohio State University, Columbus and Dublin, and the world of aviation. God bless you my friend; you will be missed. With deepest respect and appreciation,

Jack was a wonderful friend and I'm a better person for knowing him. Enjoyed many flights back to my Iowa hometown in his Piper when he was developing a restaurant property there and getting to know some long lost relatives, some of them common between us. Will miss his laugh.

I knew Jack for about 5 years while I worked at Aerosafe. He was a kind person would do what he could to help some one out. Every time he was around he could always bring a smile to your face even if your day had been bad up to that point. Jack will be missed by many but everyone will have wonderful memories to keep his legacy going.

Our deepest condolences to Jack's beloved family and all who shared the privilege and pleasure the experience of knowing and working with him as he was a true giving professional so highly respected and honored by all. Jack was complete, he could be humble or spectacular and always inspiring as a leader, fellow aviator, or a gracious passenger on an airliner. His outstanding character was consistently demonstrated in his humanitarian and he will missed and always remembered.
Respectfully with blessings,

I knew Jack well via aviation at Don Scott Field. A wonderful friend and administrator. He is missed.
