It is with great sadness that we learned of Mr. Grieser's passing. He was a wonderful man and a great mentor to me. I will always remember the first draft of a brief I wrote and took to him for review. He read it for about a minute and then asked me to sharpen his red pencil. His ability to reduce written complexity to concise clarity was special. His legal insight and experience was as extensive as it was invaluable.
Outside the office, Patty and I will always remember the annual Super Bowl dinners with wine and great conversation while we watched the game. We solved the world's problems although the world never found out.
He was truly a special person, and we keep his family in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
