Clinton Dale Allen

WALNUT – Clinton Dale Allen, 73, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at his home. He was born March 27, 1941, to Otis Lee and Virgie Ella Martindale Allen in Tippah County. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Marlowe Church of Christ.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Marlowe Church of Christ in Walnut. Minister Kenny James and Minister Rodney Hillard will officiate. Burial will be in Marlowe Cemetery at Walnut. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa ""Missy"" Allen Brooks of Walnut; one sister, Wanda Sweat (Dennis) of Corinth; three grandchildren, Charlotte Teresa Elaine Brooks, James Drew Brooks (Ashely) and Laura Lillian Brooks (Frank); and six great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Lynn Brooks, Jasmine ""Taco"" Brooks, Leanna Paige Brooks, Braxton Lee Voyles, Brayden Wayne Ray and Anthony Kevin Moorjiveer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tommy Dale Allen; one sister, Pettie Allen McCoy; and one brother, Lee Alvis Allen.
Pallbearers will be Jon Williamson, Frank Hines, Sylvester Jones, Doug Hall, Robert Hopkins, Bryan Porterfield, John Farrell and Brad Morgan.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Marlowe Church of Christ at Walnut.
